Soft Lips Cube Fresh Mint

Soft Lips Cube Fresh Mint

Hi Everyone!

Today I am reviewing the Soft Lips Cube in the flavor fresh mint.

First off I find the packaging super cute. It is a little cube. This packaging is different to what I am use to because I use lip balm that comes in the tube. As adorable as I find the packaging, it does have its defects.

This is my lip balm! I carry it everywhere and it has lasted me about a month and so far and I am still not halfway through it! It may look like it doesn't have that much product but it does! This balm  doesnt have a strong scent of mint, it is more subtle to me. I don't feel that it moisturizes as much as other balms do. It is meant more for SPF protection. When I went hiking, I put some on my lips and they were not damaged by the sun. I wish I could say that about my shoulders :p

I find that this design isn't the greatest, as much as I love the product. I think it is easier to destroy the product with this packaging. In order to close it you have to align the opening with the product perfectly to not destroy the lip balm. As you can see with the above image the some of the balm sticks to the cap of the balm due to the design. You can get the extra product with your finger and apply it to your lips.

Overall I like this product It does what it is suppose to do protect your lips from the sun. The only thing I don't like is that it is easier to destroy the balm. I do recommend you try it out and tell me your opinion about this balm.

e.l.f. Essential Custom Compact with Mirror

e.l.f. Essential Custom Compact with Mirror

e.l.f. Essential Custom Compact with Mirror

Hey everyone! So I just recently purchased this e.l.f Compact because it was on sale for only 49 cents. This is amazing I had to share with you guys this product. It is now my favorite compact ever!

This is My Compact!

Still Looking fresh!

First off look at mirror! It is the size of the actual compact which is awesome! I do not like it when the mirror is only in the center of the compact and is small compared to the outside of it. I have had no problems with the mirror suddenly popping off. I have thrown it around and it seems to be resistant for the on the go girl.

It also has four sockets where you can place e.l.f shadows. The e.l.f shadows do not come off easily, they stay on pretty well. The only thing is that if you want to replace the shadows you have to use either your nail or a small tool to take take them out. I fear hurting the shadows when I do but so far so good! I just purchased these four shadows and they were easy to install. I have heard you can place other shadows in there as well. All you have to do is glue a magnet to a de-potted eye shadow that is either smaller or the same size as the socket and place it inside. It also comes with a small applicator but I don't have it in my image because it is dirty :).

This compact is really affordable, multi-use, and resistant. This product is defiantly worth a try :)

All opinions are my own. I purchased the product and wanted to share my opinion with all of my readers :)

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

This is the St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. It comes in a squeeze tube that holds 6oz of product.

Here is my bottle of St. Ives blemish control.

When you first open the bottle the delightful scent of Apricot fills the air
The product is full of little beads which are suppose to do the exfoliating
When you first apply you can feel the little beads rubbing against your skin

Here is a swatch of the product on my hand

When I first applied the product I rubbed the product to hard on my face. I was left with a patch of red on my cheek. So I tried again and decided to rub the product on my face slowly and add more water and that worked a lot better. After the first use I could feel that my skin got a lot softer. I couldn't stop touching my face! My acne has gotten better it isn't super clean but it is a lot better compared to what it was before. Defiantly worth a try!

My recommendations for this product so far are
-allow the product to do the work. DON'T force it
-test it on your skin first I don't think it is friendly towards sensitive skin because of the beads
-use daily for best results
